Inwood, NY.
Requires: Minimum 5 years of office management or administrative experience, strong communications skills, tech-savvy, self-starter proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with the structure and norms of the Orthodox Jewish community
Our client, a boutique, well-established consulting firm in the Five Towns area, seeks an experienced Office Manager to oversee the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures.
The position reports directly to the partners and is intimately involved with the efficiency and ongoing growth of the business.
The firm has an amiable, small-office atmosphere and observes secular and Jewish holidays (including Chol Hamoed). This is a salaried position (secular and Jewish holidays paid), not sales or commission-based, although it requires client contact and business-relationship skills. The firm seeks a resourceful, proactive, and motivated professional who can become a valuable part of its team for the long term.
Responsibilities of the Office Manager:
·         Direct and oversee team, including hiring, onboarding, motivating, and training of employees
·         Manage, upgrade, and establish systems and processes to improve efficiency throughout the firm
·         Communicate with partners, employees, and clients as necessary to manage relationships and ensure effective communications, effective operational procedures, and client satisfaction.
·         Manage applicable bills, insurances, collection of payroll information, current employee information
·         Ensure professional representation of the firm in all areas, including email and phone communication, website, LinkedIn, and other mediums
·         Develop and disseminate marketing material to attract relevant audiences
·         Participate in client onboarding calls
·          Prepare contracts, invoices, review numerous documents as they come in, etc.
Qualifications of the Office Manager:
·         Proactive, organized multi-tasker with 5-plus years of office management and/or administrative experience.  Candidates with alternate business backgrounds may be considered.
·         Excellent phone, communication, and writing skills
·         Tech-savvy, with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
·         Coachable, passion for learning and contributing
·         “Roll up your sleeves”-type attitude; willingness to assist with all necessary tasks
·         Pleasant, confident demeanor when interacting with employees and clients
·         Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task, troubleshoot, and solve problems independently in a small office setting
·         Familiarity with the structure and norms of the Orthodox Jewish community
