The Opportunity

The Associated is looking for an Investment Analyst to join our Finance Team. In this position, you will be responsible for tracking and reporting investment manager returns, preparing financial reports for internal and external users, providing support for the investment committees, and aid in the customer service for not-for-profit clients.


In this role, you will:

  • Monitor current and former investment managers and track performance, investment style and any changes to personal, investment process and external threats to manager’s process.
  • Examine economic and market trends, earnings prospects and various other indicators and factors to aid the investment committees in determining suitable investment strategies.
  • Maintain a record of previous investment decisions and the thought process of the investment committees making investment decisions.
  • Plan and attend quarterly investment committee meetings.
  • Help senior staff and investment consultants in gathering and disseminating materials.
  • Provide customer support to entities and donors who utilize the investment management services.


What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience is required
  • Logical decision-making process incorporating analysis and judgment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and foster deep relationship
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to organize and synthesize data to reach conclusions
  • Attention to detail combined with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with team

Salary range is approximately $70,000-$80,000. Salary will be based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
