Full-Time HR People & Payroll Coordinator – Hybrid, New York City

The Role

At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well” and we can’t do that without our specialist teams.

At this time, we’re on the lookout for a People & Payroll Coordinator who will be working on a full time basis with Remi from our US Human Resources team. The US Office is located in Midtown New York City, on Lexington and 41st Street, close to Grand Central Station.


What you will be doing

The People & Payroll Coordinator will play a key role in working across the full HR employee lifecycle; leading HR process for approximately 100 US employees. You will be responsible for Payroll, Administration and Operations as it relates to people; this role will ensure that the key HR processes are coordinated effectively and efficiently. Your close attention to detail will mean that our people systems are accurate, effective, and compliant. You will work closely with the HR Business Partner with the goal to ensure talent is attracted, engaged, and retained across our office and retail locations.


What we are looking for

The successful candidate must have HRIS experience, ideally with ADP, but Workday, Paylocity, Paychex or others are suitable too. 2+ years of experience in an HR role, with a degree or additional general work experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who has high attention to detail and is able to manage their time to ensure priorities are effectively addressed. Experience preparing payroll is required for this role. You’ll understand general HR principles and will also be open to working on various projects to grow your own career as well as support the development of our HR tools for a growing team.

Our office operates on a Hybrid basis, we are looking for someone who is looking forward to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
