Full-Time HR Assistant

Job Description

The HR Department handles many duties including hiring, recruiting, payroll, projects, assisting employees/addressing any concerns, benefits, and more. As a large property management company, the HR Department also handles the property staff throughout all the properties. The HR Assistant would help with any of these assigned duties as needed while working collaboratively with the rest of the team/department.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Prescreen applicants for open positions
• Set up interviews
• Manage, do, and complete projects
• Stay organized, follow up often, and keep department appropriate people informed regularly
• Make phone calls
• Review resumes and evaluate whether the applicant is the right fit
• Place ads, search for, and recruit new staff
• Assist HR Director with tasks
• Suggest ways to improve processes, roles, and tasks
• Complete other tasks as assigned

 

Required Abilities/Skills:

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Follow through skills and be on top of things
• Team player
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Good phone, written, and verbal communication
• Good computer skills, including email, Microsoft Suite, PDFs, etc…
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Understand and respect confidentiality
