Full-Time Grants Administrator

Job Description

A private Jewish foundation, located in New York City, Seeks Full Time Grants Administrator

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all aspects of the grants cycle (includes managing
  • review processes, monitoring of grant budgets, and intake of proposals all subsequent reporting documents).
  • Familiarity with and management of Foundation database
  • Responding to requests for information
  • Planning of materials for board members and others constituents
  • Assisting with preparations for Foundation special events, such as
  • board meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Interfacing with webmaster, monitor website, and  troubleshoot
  • issues as they arise
  • Researching new initiatives as needed
  • Creating of graphs and charts and other documents related to grants analysis
  • Preparation of slides for PowerPoint and other presentation models
  • Organizing and overseeing filing of hard copies and electronic
  • copies of grant proposals,  project files, evaluation materials
  • Assisting in other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director

Candidates should possess:

  • Excellent writing and speaking skills
  • Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid computer skills
  • Ability to get along with others and willingness to participate as a full member of the staff team
  • Interest in Jewish education
