Full-Time Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Our client, a prestigious and highly regarded New York developer of high-rise construction projects throughout the tri-state, currently has an opening for a senior project manager, who will oversee both new construction and renovations.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the daily on-site management, supervision, coordination and successful implementation of the construction projects within the given timelines and cost projections.

The ideal candidate would have to fill a hybrid position; acting as an executive project manager, attending and reporting at executive meetings, nonetheless, at the same time constantly be on-sight, managing the project on a daily basis.

Manage construction team and personnel, and collaborate with associate Project Managers.
Oversee, Interview, hire contractors, sub contractors, and trades.
Ensure that projects are completed according to desired plans.
Provide overall support to the construction and development efforts.

Minimum 5 years of residential high-rise development and construction management experience.
An unmatched willingness to provide leadership and management to others.
Excellent presentation and negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated skill in the following:
* Estimating
* Scheduling
* Budgeting
* Cost control
* Field supervision
* Financial reporting
* Client relationships
* Interpersonal skills
* Computer skills
* Safety/insurance
* Written and Oral communication skills

Individuals without expensive experience specifically in residential high-rise building construction will not be interviewed for this position.
