Full-Time Buyer & Inventory Manager

Job Description

Our client, a prominent electronics Retailer, is seeking a competent and experienced Buyer & Inventory Manager.
This position entails coordinating product shipping and receiving, communicating with vendors and clients, working with Sales and Delivery teams, placing orders, approving and processing incoming orders, adjusting quantities and prices, inspecting products to confirm quality, establishing and enforcing schedules and completing other related work.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate product shipment, international and domestic, through multiple travel mediums.
  • Ensure company compliance with shipment regulations; track government requirements and adjust company procedures as necessary.
  • Process and review incoming client orders. Approve orders in accordance with company guidelines and update client account information accordingly.
  • Maintain through client account records.
  • Bill and invoice clients as required, and make note of any delinquent accounts.
  • Ensure client orders are fulfilled and shipped as scheduled.
  • Resolve any difficulties or disputes.
  • Maintain inventory data.
  • Coordinate with Sales Department and Purchasing Department for product purchasing and client services.
  • Communicate with vendors.
  • Placing orders and noting product price changes.
  • Perform vendor negotiations and ensure products are shipped in a timely fashion.
  • Routinely report to company management.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of related work experience.
  • In depth knowledge of internal/domestic shipping regulations and requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a team asset.
  • Capable of multitasking with superior time management skills.
  • Ability to produce in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Expert attention to detail, efficient and motivated.
  • Professional and personable manner.
  • Computer skills.

Salary: 75K
