Kehila Chadasha is an inclusive, independent, cooperative community. We run a progressive, experiential Jewish Education program that meets on Sunday mornings, serving tots to teens!
We are seeking a dynamic song leader who loves kids, is adept with several types of Jewish music, supports progressive Judaism, loves teaching, and is able to effectively connect with a large group of mixed ages – from preschoolers to octogenarians.
–– Salary range is $15-$20K
— Responsibilities are:
– Leading 45-minute musical assemblies on approximately 25 Sunday mornings
– Providing a musical component to classroom instruction
– Providing musical leadership for approximately 6-8 holiday and community events throughout the year (Sukkot, Hanukkah, etc.)
— All events will occur between September 2023 and May 2024
— Responsibilities do not include High Holidays; any services provided at these events would be subject to separate agreements and separate compensation
